Sarah Giguere, MD
Dr. Giguere received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She attended the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Greensburg, PA and completed her Pediatric Residency at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. She earned her Pediatric Board Certification in 2019.
Passionate about caring for underserved populations, Dr. Giguere has worked to provide healthcare to people overseas. She has traveled to South America and Malawi, Africa to provide medicine to indigenous regions where she finds great passion and pleasure in helping women and children from all cultures and backgrounds. She created an outreach program to provide medical care to impoverished villages in Colombia, serving over 500 orphaned children.
An avid adventure seeker, Dr. Giguere loves to rock climb, camp, hike and her newest challenge is learning how to surf. Her claim to fame on adventure seeking includes rock climbing Half Dome in Yosemite and a Safari through South Africa. She lives in Ocean Beach and enjoys playing with her dog and listening to podcasts.
Dr. Giguere has special professional interests in nutrition and gut health, mental health, and health disparities.
